Edward D. (“Ted”) McCutcheon is General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer of Locust Point Capital. Mr. McCutcheon is the senior legal officer for the firm and leads the firm’s regulatory compliance program. Before joining Locust Point Capital, Mr. McCutcheon worked at two different U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission-registered investment advisers as legal counsel and Chief Compliance Officer. Before entering private practice, Mr. McCutcheon was an Assistant District Attorney in Manhattan, and then served for ten years as an enforcement attorney and Senior Trial Counsel for the U.S. SEC. In total, he has 20 years of experience providing legal and regulatory advice on federal securities laws and leading the legal and compliance functions at wealth management and private fund adviser firms. Mr. McCutcheon holds a J.D. from the Cornell Law School, and an undergraduate degree in English and American Literature from Brown University.
