Jason Karch is a seasoned compliance officer with over a decade of specialized experience across hedge funds, private equity, and global investment platforms. Jason joins Locust Point Capital from BridgeInvest, a credit-focused investment manager and CRE lender based in Miami where he served as Compliance Officer, leading regulatory coordination, exam preparedness, and cross-functional alignment of the firm’s compliance strategy with SEC expectations and private fund best practices. Jason began his career in financial services at Sculptor Capital Management (formerly Och-Ziff), where he helped deploy new global compliance systems and implemented technological solutions to bolster surveillance and information governance. He later joined Elliott Management, where he expanded his scope to include real-time trading oversight, cross-border regulatory coordination, and the buildout of sophisticated pre- and post-trade surveillance systems. His expertise has since been sought after in high-impact consulting roles at firms including iCapital, JP Morgan, and Taula Capital—where he led core compliance initiatives, regulatory filing, risk control testing, and the drafting of firm-wide training protocols. Before his entry into financial services, Jason served as a U.S. Marine, holding leadership and intelligence roles in both combat and training environments, including Infantry Platoon Team Leader and Jungle Warfare Training Instructor, serving in Hawaii, Iraq and Japan. He holds a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School and a B.A. from Fordham University.
